I'm expanding the site to cover general 3D CG techniques, software specific articles and digital photography. The photography articles will cover general techniques, as well as the use of digtal photographs in 3D graphics.

Hot on the heels of my first Blender tutorial comes - the second one. This one covers how to create a forest in Blender using the particle system. Read it here.

There's a few new articles available, including two on producing photo textures. One article explains how to photograph them properly and the other goes over the entire process of cleaning the photos up and making them seamless. Invaluable information if you want to produce your own high quality textures.

Do you need a realistic looking ocean for Poser, but just can't find one? Look no further. Poser Ocean is a realistic, morphing ocean with five separate wave morphs. It is designed to provide a realistic ocean surface that can be used even in close up renders. The morphs range from a benign, calm ocean, to a raging maelstrom. You can mix morphs by dialling in various amounts from each of them, so you have a lot of flexibility over the look of the ocean.

There are five material presets for the ocean and the included backdrop prop has three material presets.
